This exclusive seminar will be featuring a panel of distinguished speakers from Volvo Trucks, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ), and other experts in financial economics and international markets, discussing on the topic of “AEC, Opportunities & Challenges. Stronger Together Towards Asean Economic Community (AEC) 2025”, with Asian Trucker’s Editor, Stefan Pertz moderating the session.

AEC 2025 offers great opportunities in land transportation especially in the logistics segment, as ASEAN boasts a huge market of US$2.6 trillion and over 622 million people. The seminar will be held in conjunction with the Malaysian Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) 2017, the largest exhibition in South-East Asia dedicated to commercial vehicles. This year marks the third time that this exhibition has been held.

Those who want to avoid the crowds and head straight into the expo may pre-register and we will mail the passes ahead of the event. The pre-registration will end on 19th of April. Those who haven't pre-registered may just register at the event itself. 

Volvo Trucks will host an exclusive interview during MCVE. Panellists will discuss the challenges and opportunities of the AEC. Moderated by Asian Trucker, the session will take place on Friday, 19th May 14:00 - 16:00. 

The Asian Trucker Drivers Club is an initiative to elevate the skills and the social standing of Malaysian truck drivers. This year we will host a luncheon for the members at MCVE 2017. This sub-event is sponsored by Volvo Trucks Malaysia and Giti Tires.

To improve the experience for delegates, visitors may now register for next year’s exhibition. Prior to the event, organisers will mail delegate passes to those who have pre-registered. Exhibitions offer the opportunity to meet, mix and mingle and at the same time foster existing business relationships. To facilitate this, MCVE 2017 will feature a meeting area modelled after a highway reststop. Guardian South-East Asia will prevent fatigue by sponsoring this area where we will provide free coffee and food. 

Organizers of MCVE 2017, the largest commercial vehicle exhibition in Sout East Asia have announced the date for the press conference to be 17th of February.
The event will be held in the Hilton Hotel, KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

MAN Trucks & Bus Malaysia has confirmed its sponsorship of the seventh Asian Trucker Networking Night.

Introducing their "Smart Truckers" program, local logistics and transport company PKT will be speaking at the upcoming MCVE. The program is now seeing the second round of intakes and PKT's speaker will share insights from running this initiative and how it helped to overcome challenges the company faced.

Several publications have agreed to become media partners for MCVE. We are delighted to announce that Auto Parts Asia, Tyre Asia, Truck & Bus News, Tyreman, TruckMagz and International Business Review are going to be present during the event to provide coverage of the expo.

The Association of Malaysian Hauliers or better known as AMH among the industry players was incorporated and registered on 25th September 2002. With the current membership above 100 haulier company members , the Association is open for memberships to any companies which operates the container haulage business . in short its membership is open to any companies that has been granted the KA license previously by LPKP i.e the commercial vehicles licensing board and now under the jurisdiction of SPAD.

As with the previous instalments of the exhibition, DB Schenker will be the official freight forwarder for MCVE 2017. Exhibitors neednig assistance with their movement of goods may contact them directly or ask us for assistance to connect to the person in charge.

Scania Malaysia has been confirmed as a major exhibitor at MCVE 2017. Following the success of their activities during our last event, the Swedish marquee will yet again participate in the show with their driver lounge and the driver competition as add-ons.

The Scania Driver Competition will be an exciting part of the fringe program as this event is not limited to truck drivers.
